Our pugs have many nicknames, the most common of which is Pug. I can't think of any other breed of dog that would work well as a name, but Pug seems as much like a term of endearment as Sweetie, Darling, etc. "Did you feed the German Sheperds?" just sounds awkward, but "Did the Pugs poop?" sounds right to us.
Other nicknames include, but are not limited to:
For Honey - Honey Bunny, Mouse, H Dawg, Girl, My Girl, Baby, Monkey, Dude, Fella
For Boo - Boo Berry, Baby Boo, Boo Boo, Boo Hoo, Boob, Boobie, Boober, Booger, Boog, Little Mouse, Brat, Little Fat Guy, Little Dude, Fat Bastard, Mini
